My responsibilities here include re-branding company image through the revamp of the website and marketing materials as well as strategic planning to develop marketing strategy plan/direction, identify competitors, and manage budget to achieve more effective brand exposure.

The branding strategy has emphasized on connecting the brand with consumer by creating engaging story about the “why” at the core value of the brand. Besides, by reading sales report, I implement action plans that help sales team to close the gap.

I focus on online marketing such as building and managing social media accounts, managing SEO and SEM in collaboration with an external agency and the setup and development of EDM process through the use of MailChimp to improve website traffic. Google analytics and database analysis play a major roles in my job performance.

Currently I was working on bringing products to new platform - Lazada and optimizing own e-commerce on company website. I work with China team for printed and digital marketing, whereby the challenges include language and culture.

I have managed to increase relevant leads from the local market through online marketing, introduce customer retention program that achieved the highest closing rate compared to other sales platform, utilises database to help in closing more sales to increase return on marketing spent as well as increasing number of leads more than 100% through a marketing campaign.

As the Assistant Marketing Manager, I implemented strategic marketing plan by creating new catalogues (from concept to print) as well as maintaining the authenticity of the corporate identity with print campaigns that moved customers to action and sales.

In my time here, we revitalised marketing efforts, by working with PR firm in organising and improving brand presence at events, resulting in an increase in inquiries from prospective clients.
